Jeffrey Michael Klas, age 49 of Plainfield, passed away on February 16, 2021 in Hendricks Regional Health, Danville. He was born on April 18, 1971 in Danville, Indiana, to James L. Klas, Sr. and Sharon Kay Skaggs Klas.  He was a 1989 graduate of Plainfield High School and received his B.S. degree from Purdue University.  He worked in hospitality for the hotel industry for several years.  Jeff is survived by his father, James L. Klas, Sr.; four aunts and several cousins.  He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, James L. Klas, Jr.  Calling hours will be held on Friday, February 19, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 12 noon in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral services will start immediately following at 12 noon in the funeral home with Pastor Jon Lilly officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  In lieu of flowers please make memorial contributions to the National Ataxia Foundation 600 Highway 169 South, #1725 Minneapolis, MN 55426. All guests attending visitation and/or services will be required to wear a mask at all times in an effort to promote a safe environment.
