Janice Kay Chesser, age 74, of Plainfield passed away on January 18, 2025.  She was born in Indianapolis on September 22, 1950 to the late Clyde W. and Mildred Short.  Janice Kay worked many years as a factory worker at May and Company before her retirement.  She is survived by her loving daughter and son in law Deana and Robert Akers. Brother: Danny Short. 3 Granddaughters and 5 Great-granddaughters.  A celebration of life will be held at a later date.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield is handling her cremation arrangements.
