Janet Carolyn Lawson, 86 of Roachdale, passed away on March 31, 2025.  She was born on March 02, 1939 in Indianapolis to the late Harriet A. (Buckle) and Martin A. Williams.  Janet married Walter S. Lawson on November 27, 1957 in Plainfield.  She worked for Kroger in Brownsburg as a cake decorator for over 29 years before retirement.  Janet loved going to the ocean or the mountains.  She enjoyed bird watching, especially redbirds and bluebirds.  Janet was a member of the Clayton Baptist Church.  Survivors include her sons, Scott Lawson (Carol Washburn) of Roachdale, Marty Lawson of Cloverdale; sister, Judy Fisher of Clayton, brother, Bob Williams of Kokomo; 7 grandchildren, Kevin Lawson, Dustin Lawson, Angel Moritz (Kenny), Amy Barrett (C. J.), Samantha Manns (Nick), Kyle Hood, Selena Bathauer; and 3 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Bathauer (Frankie), Emily and Chloe Manns; 2 great-great grandchildren, Nova and Logan.  Her parents; husband; daughter, Tracey Bathauer; and siblings, Esther Jackson, Kenneth Williams, and Donna Ray, preceded her in death.  Funeral Services will be at 2:00 pm on Saturday, April 05, 2025 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow at the Clayton Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12:00 noon until the service time in the funeral home.
