James A. "Jim" Ruddick, age 85 of Plainfield, passed away Saturday April 1. 2023 at Hendricks Regional Health.  Jim was born in Indianapolis on November 15, 1937 to Raymond Joseph and Mary Wehrel Ruddick.  He married Betty Wilson in July 1957; she survives.  Jim was a car salesman for National Car Sales in Indianapolis; he was also a VP at Stark & Wetzel Company in Indianapolis.  Jim was a member of Plainfield Christian Church, Plainfield Elks Lodge #2186, was an avid golfer and was a  big fan of Indiana University Basketball, Indianapolis Pacers and Indianapolis Colts.  Memorial visitation will be held on Thursday April 6, 2023 from 11 a.m. until 12 noon at Plainfield Christian Church.  Memorial services will start at 12 noon with Rev. Luke Proctor officiating.  Survivors include his wife Betty.  Daughters: Linda (Jeff) Tilley and Nancy Ruddick.  Granddaughter: Brooklyn Hudson and Great-granddaughter: Harlem.  Please make memorial contributions to the Plainfield Christian Church 800 Dan Jones Rd.
