James Ronald "Ronnie" Hill, age 79, of Avon, passed away on November 18, 2023 at Hendricks Regional Health in Danville.  He was born on August 25, 1944 in Livingston, Tennessee, to the late William and Effie Reeder Hill.  He married Rosemary Rice on April 27, 1963; she survives.  He owned and operated All Tune and Lube in Avon for several years before his retirement.  Ronnie enjoyed his motorcycles, fishing and spending time with his family.  Survivors include his wife, Rosie; son, Tommy Hill and wife, Lori Alexander; grandchildren, Chris, Jessica and Cody; and great-grandson, Ian.  His parents and son, Dwayne Hill, preceded him in death.  Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 22, 2023 at 2 p.m. in Baker Funeral Home, Danville.  Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 12 noon until services in the funeral home.
