Jackie Wayne Bolton, 87 of Brownsburg (formerly of Danville), passed away on August 30, 2026. He was born on April 14, 1939 in Danville, Indiana, to the late Ruth (Kafauver) and Jay Delmar Bolton. Jack married Sandra Louise Wynn on January 31, 1959 at the Danville Christian Church.

Jack worked for Allisons GM Plant #5 for 29 years retiring in 1993. He was a member of the U A W Local #933 and served as the Union Steward for several years. He enjoyed boating, going to the beach, working on cars and boats, watching races and attending the Indianapolis 500.

Survivors include his wife of 67 years, Sandra L. Bolton of Brownsburg; children, Jeffery Wade Bolton of Danville, Christopher Scott Bolton (Annette) of Port St. Lucie, FL., Cheri Ann Shelley (Mike) of Plainfield, Mark Alan Bolton (Cathy) of Danville; sister, Marylyn Leavitt of Mt. Dora, FL.; 6 grandchildren, Emma (Sam) Barker, Jacob Bolton, Isaiah Bolton, Nick (Lauren) Shelley, Sarah (Aaron) Youngs, Josh (Miranda) Bolton; and 4 great-grandchildren, Koraline and Willow Bolton, Genevieve and Xavier Barker and one on the way. Jack was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Eugene Bolton.

A memorial service will be held at 7:00 pm on Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Baker Funeral Home, Danville. Visitation will be from 4:00 pm until the service time in the funeral home.
