Horace P. Richey, 95 of Goshen, formerly of Plainfield, passed away on October 2, 2016 in Goshen, Indiana.  He was born on May 12, 1921 in Woodburn, Kentucky to Paul and Ethel Holman Richey.  He was the widow of Doris Jane Richey.  He was a supervisor for General Motors Detroit Allison's for 30 years, retiring in 1982. He and his wife attended the Plainfield United Methodist Church and were members of the Phi Delta Kappa Fraternity and Prestwick Country Club.  Horace was a Navy Veteran of WWII.  Survivors include his children, Rick P. Richey (Linda), Anna Jane Sonner, Samuel N. Richey; grandchildren, Heather Richey-Walker, Rick Richey, Jr., Chris Hopper, Barbara Richardson, Katy, Samantha and Jaclyn Sonner; 9 great grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 2 sisters.  Calling hours will be on Wednesday, October 5, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will be on Thursday, October 6, 2016 at 11 a.m. in the funeral home, with Reverend Jim Burkes officiating.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.   In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Wounded Warrior Project P.O.
