Helen Pearl Fougnies, 93, of Plainfield passed away on Thursday, April 7, 2016.  She was born on March 1, 1923 in Himlerville, Kentucky to Charles and Lizzie Berta Takacs. Before retirement, Helen was a waitress at Fireside South for twenty years.  Helen is survived by her husband of 71 years, Robert H. Fougnies, and their children Cloyis Sullivan, Kathy Mickel (Phillip), Charles Fougnies (Kristy) and Christina Matthys (Paul); 11 Grandchildren, 19 Great-Grandchildren and by her sister, Esther Melton.  She was preceded in death by several siblings and son-in-law, Michael Sullivan.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, April 12, 2016 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  A funeral mass will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield.  Fr.
