Helen Lawrence Wallen, 97, of Plainfield, IN, died on March 3, 2024. She was born in Amo, IN on December 7, 1926 to John Thomas and Viola Deborde Lawrence. Helen was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, Carl W. Lawrence and John "Frank" Lawrence. She graduated from Amo High School and Indiana Business College. Helen retired after 22 years as an executive secretary for divisions of Amerace Corporation, and was a Certified Professional Secretary. She was member of the Plainfield United Methodist Church, Golden Girls, and Tuesdays with Friends. A graveside service will be held in Amo Cemetery on Thursday March 7, 2024 at 11 a.m. Contributions may be made to the Plainfield United Methodist Church, or Christian Support Center at St. Mark's Episcopal Church in Plainfield. Arrangements entrusted to Hall-Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield.
