Helen F. Giles, 87 of Danville, passed away April 30, 2020.  Helen was born in Indianapolis on December 05, 1932 to the late Leroy and Adelia Gipson.  Helen married her love, Jack Giles on January 20, 1951 in Indianapolis and he preceded her in death in 2015.  They owned and operated Giles and Sons Refuge Removal for 30 years, retiring in July 1988.

Helen enjoyed watching her game shows on TV but most importantly she loved sitting on her porch watching the traffic go by.  Occasionally the yellow finches came by for a visit.  Helen enjoyed listening to the police scanner and playing on her tablet.

Survivors include her children, Jack Giles, Jr. of Greencastle, Joseph L. Giles, Sr. (Cindy) of Danville, William Giles of Danville, LaDonna Benge (Rick) of Danville; 10 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; sister, Elizabeth Ginn and brother, Robert Gipson.

Due to the Covid-19 restrictions that are in place, private services will be held with burial to follow in Floral Park Cemetery.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of the arrangements.
