Harold David Branson, 75 of Danville, passed away on October 28, 2021.  He was born on March 28, 1946 in Crawfordsville, Indiana, to the late Paul and Margaret (Delaney) Branson. David was a mechanic for the United States Air Force, retiring in June of 1984 after 20 years of military service.  He married Marsha M. Prater on September 06, 2008 in Fairview Heights, Illinois.  Survivors include his wife, Marsha Branson of Danville; sons, Robert (Tracey) Branson of Goldsboro, N.C., Michael (Diane) Branson of Mt. Airy, MD.; stepsons, John (Jessica) Schaumleffel of O'Fallon, IL., Scott Schaumleffel of Belleville, IL.; brother, William Branson of Danville; brothers-in-law, Michael Prater of Rock, MI., Larry L. Norman of Danville; sister-in-law, Sarah Lautner of Danville; 6 grandchildren, James (Chelsea), Christine, Hanna, Dylan, David, Sophia; 2 great grandchildren, Bryce and Liberty.  His parents and sister, Audrey E. Norman, preceded him in death.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements.  There are no services at this time.
