Harlan Martin Mayner, 66 of Danville, passed away on August 27, 2022.  He was born on November 12, 1955 in Flint, Michigan, to Estabelle (Henderson) and the late John Martin Mayner.  Harlan married Lisa Hoop on April 25, 1987 in the Hazelwood Christian Church.  He worked in construction.  Harlan was a cowboy at heart and loved horses.  He and his wife participated in Team penning, a western equestrian sport, and qualified to travel to the World competition.  Survivors include his wife of 35 years, Lisa Mayner of Danville; son, Benjamin (Angie) Mayner of Lebanon; daughter, Cecily (Charity) Mayner of Greenwood; mother, Estabelle Mayner; brothers, Rodney Mayner, Andrew Mayner; sister, Glenda Mayner; and 2 grandchildren, Kate and Bryce Mayner.  His father and brother, Roger Mayner (Rodney's twin), preceded him in death.  A memorial visitation will be held from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm on Saturday, September 10, 2022 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville.  A Celebration of Life will begin at 12:00 pm in the funeral home.
