Geraldene Yeryar, age 88, of Plainfield, passed away peacefully on April 8, 2026 in Cumberland Trace in Plainfield. She was born on September 30, 1937 in New Winchester, Indiana to the late Oscar Fields and Zora Walters Fields. She was a Clerk for the Indiana Department of Revenue for several years before her retirement. Geraldene was an avid reader, enjoyed watching the game show network and watching the Indianapolis Colts.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 14, 2026 at 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Visitation will be held an hour prior to the funeral service.

Survivors include her children: Kim Yeryar, Michele Cooper, Kevin Yeryar, Kathleen Myers (Jay) and Brian Yeryar (Patricia). Siblings: Kenneth Ray Fields (Judy) and Vernon Fields. Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and several great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother: Gerald Fields and sister: Marlene Sterling.
