Georgia Hopper age 89, of Clayton, passed away on September 15, 2025, in her home surrounded by her loved ones. She was born on February 22, 1936, in Dixon, Kentucky, to the late Jess and Blanch Wilson Powell. She was the widow of Earl Hopper. Georgia was a homemaker, a devoted mother and grandmother who enjoyed cooking and sewing in her free time. She is survived by her children: Jeff Hopper, Steve Hopper, Morgan Hopper, and Brandy Hughes. She was preceded in death by her beloved daughters, Pam Lucas and Tami Alltop, whom she now joins in eternal rest. Georgia was blessed with grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and was especially proud to say she also had great-great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025, at 1:00 p.m. at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Entombment will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
