George E. Chance, 58 of Plainfield, passed away on November 02, 2023.  He was born on December 13, 1964 in St. Louis City, Missouri, to the late Charlotte (Schleicher) and Herbert Chance.  George married Rose Gibson on June 21, 1993.  He was the maintenance coordinator for NTS Development Company for many years and was a Union insulator for 25 years.  George was a member of the Plainfield Eagles Lodge #3207 and ABATE.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, camping and fishing.  Survivors include his wife of 30 years, Rose Chance of Plainfield; Children: Matt Chance, Jessica Chance, Elizabeth Melton and Toni Nicastro.  Brother, Tracy Chance; sisters, Myra Blank, Janice Watson; Grandchildren: Devin Chance, Isabella Chance, Averie Malone, Ariana Soto, Amyah Diaz ,Sara Melton, Emma Oeding, Anthony Nicastro and Giovanna Nicastro.  Great-Granddaughter Skylar.  His parents and brother, Mark Chance and grandson Gavin McClain preceded him in death.  Private services will be held.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 5635 W 96th St., Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278.
