Gary E. Sneed, 68 of Avon, passed away August 31, 2020 in his residence.  He was born on August 26, 1952 in Franklin, Indiana, to Lora Kathleen (McMurray) Dean and the late Edward D. Sneed.  Gary married Debbie Bailey on June 12, 1971.  He owned S & B Auto Transport and retired in 2016.  Gary was a member of Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene in Indianapolis.  Survivors include his wife of 49 years, Debbie Sneed of Avon; mother, Lora (Clifford) Dean; son, Gary (Shannon) Sneed; daughter, Heather (Ben) Briggeman; daughter-in-law, Veronica Lopez; siblings, Wayne (Jenny) Sneed, Joyce (Kevin) McKinney, Sharon (John) Borden, Denise (Bob) White, Mark (Tina) Sneed, Audrey (Mike) Wolf; brother-in-laws, J. D. (Esther) Bailey, Rick (Kim) Bailey; grandchildren, Bailey Briggeman, Madysyn Sneed, Loagin Sneed, Luke Briggeman, Gracie Sneed, James Sneed, Sebastian Lopez; 28 nieces and nephews.  His father and son, Matthew Sneed, preceded him in death.  Services will be at 11:00 am on Friday, September 04, 2020 at Grace Pointe Church of the Nazarene 10951 E CR 100 S Indianapolis, with burial to follow at Fairfield Friends Cemetery, Camby..  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Thursday, September 03, 2020 in the church and also one hour prior to the service on Friday.
