Gary W. Heard, age 76, of Plainfield passed away on August 28, 2022 in his residence.  He was born on October 3, 1945 in Norfolk, Virginia to the late Fred and Mildred Roehl Heard.  He married Sharon Nooe; she survives.  Gary was a factory worker for Chrysler Corporation for 35 years retiring in 2000.  He was a member of the Faith Baptist Church of Avon.  Survivors include his wife of 57 years Sharon Nooe Heard.  Sons: Rodney Heard (Amanda) and Gary Heard.  Daughter: Krista Heard.  Sisters: Sandra Tidd (James) Imelda "Mattie" Vest and Teresa Blankenship.  Brother: Steve Heard.  5 Grandchildren: Cody and Makenzie Heard. He was preceded in death by his sister: Virginia Brower.   Visitation will be held on Friday September 2, 2022 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. in Faith Baptist Church 3860 East Main St. Danville, Indiana 46122.  Funeral services will immediately follow at 11 a.m.  Private burial will be at Washington Park East Cemetery in Indianapolis.  Please make memorial contributions to the Faith Baptist Church 3860 East Main St. Danville, Indiana 46122.
