Florice Nan Carnes, 93 of Danville, passed away on September 25, 2022.  She was born on August 24, 1929 in Chetek, Wisconsin, to the late Ray and Ella Cummings Carnes.  Florice graduated from Chetek High School and was a Free Methodist Christian.  She was a homemaker and enjoyed crafts, needlepoint, and sewing.  She also was a driver for Area 10.  Survivors include her children, Richard Alan Ayrea (Susan Hill) of Bloomington, Valerie Lynn Lewis of Cloverdale, Ranella Ann Arnett (Larry) of Niles, Michigan; 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren.  Her parents; siblings, Charles Carnes, Lucille Johnson, Violet Elliott; and son, Michael John Ayrea, preceded her in death.  A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 09, 2023 at the Milton Township Hall offices 32097 Bertrand Street Niles, Michigan  49120.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, handled the local arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Salvation Army Central Indiana 6060 Castleway West Drive Indianapolis, IN 46250.
