Erik L. Jacobson, 72, of Indianapolis, passed away on January 22, 2022.  Born on June 24, 1949 in Lafayette, IN to Julian J. and Martha A. (Duvall) Jacobson.  Erik was a member of St. James Lutheran Church and School. He graduated Lafayette Jeff High School in 1967.  Erik's love for basketball took his team to state in 1967 and earned him the honor of being an Indiana High School All Star basketball player. He graduated with a B.S. in Business Management from Purdue University, and then worked for several years as a C.P.A.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to jazz, and loved talking basketball. He is survived by his daughter Heather Weber (Aaron), and two sons Erik S. Jacobson (Kimberly), and Bradley Jacobson (Maggie); 8 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Brother, Wayne Jacobson, and sisters, Tina Burns, Janene Deliramich, Julie O'Rear, and Delores Hendricks. Hall Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling the arrangements. No services. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to Mental Health America of Hendricks County or Tippecanoe County.
