Elmer "Ed" Dale Click November 2, 1942 – September 29, 2024 Elmer "Ed" Dale Click, 81, of Plainfield, Indiana, passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 29, 2024. Born and raised in Florida, Ed grew up with a strong sense of duty and went on to honorably serve his country in the United States Air Force. After his service, he established a rewarding career at Allison Transmission, where he spent forty dedicated years before retiring. He was a loving husband to his wife, Vicki, and together they created a lifetime of joyful memories. Ed was a caring father to his three children: Sherry Sherby (husband Karl Sherby), Michael Click, and Jeff Click, and a proud grandfather to his three grandchildren: Lauren, Hannah, and Dylan. Ed will forever be remembered for his warm heart, tireless work ethic, and deep devotion to his family. His impact on those around him is immeasurable, and he leaves behind a legacy of love and integrity. While he will be greatly missed, his memory will remain in the hearts of everyone he touched. A memorial Visitation will be held at Hall-Baker Funeral Home on Monday, October 7, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm eastern standard time. A memorial service will start at 7 P.M. in the funeral home.   In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the Alzheimer's Association in Ed's memory.
