Elijah W. Whitaker, 10 weeks old of Plainfield, passed away on August 10, 2021.  He was born on May 22, 2021 in Danville to Kevin and Kristena (Cummings) Whitaker.  Along with his parents, he is survived by his sister, Emma Whitaker; brothers, Kasen Whitaker, J. D. Raab, Jr.; grandparents, Mr. & Mrs. Terry & Mandi L. Whitaker, Jr., Mr. & Mrs. Gary & Marcile White, Mary Cummings; Great Grandparents James & Joette Ideman, David & Mary White, Chris & Paula Busenbark Jr., Terry L. Whitaker Sr., Robert & Louise Steele, & Great Great Grandma Patricia A. Jones & Mr. & Mrs. Chris & Beverly Busenbark Sr., and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Elijah is preceded in death by Great Great Grandma Alletta Korsak, Constance Jean White, Samuel A. Whitaker, Rickie Johnson Sr. & Katelyn & Madison Ideman. Services will be at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 14, 2021 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in the New Maysville Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.  Pastor Jonathan Lilly will officiate.
