Eddie "Jean" Guffey (Beck) passed away on November 15th, 2023 at Hendricks Regional Hospital. Jean was born and raised in Millers Creek, North

Carolina, but moved to Indiana as a young adult. Jean worked as a nurse for over 30 years before retiring, but her passion was cooking for family and friends as she tried new recipes from her "cooking channel".

Jean was preceded in death by her first husband, Tom Beck, who passed away in 1981. She remarried several years later and was preceded in death by her second husband, Everett Guffey in 2017. Jean was also preceded in death

by her son Jim, who passed away in December, 2022. She is survived by

her son Rod Beck (Pam), son Ed Beck, daughter Scottie Campbell (Don), daughter Patte Ottinger (Bill), and son Josh Beck (Julie). She had 13 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. Jean is also survived by her sister Jackie Lankford (George), several nieces, nephews and many, many friends.

Jean knew Christ as her Savior and as one of her friends shared - wanted to be "home" for Christmas. She definitely is "home" and rejoicing with loved ones and her Jesus.

Services for Jean will be at Hall Baker Funeral Home in Plainfield, Indiana.

Showing will be Tuesday, November 21 from 4:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. and funeral services Wednesday, November 22 at 10:00 a.m.
