Eddie R. Overpeck, age 83, of Avon, passed away peacefully on January 29, 2022.  He was born on June 4, 1938 in Indianapolis, Indiana to the late Ernest and Dorothy Lucille Jamison Overpeck.  He worked for General Motors as a sheet metal worker for 12 and half years before his retirement.  Ed was a member of Faith Baptist Church and was a US Marine Corp veteran.  Funeral services will be held at 12 noon on Saturday February 5, 2022 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home with Pastor Marc Monte officiating.    Burial with military rites will follow in Crown Hill Cemetery, Indianapolis.  Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until services in the funeral home.  Survivors include his wife Delores "Dee" Overpeck whom he married on June 11, 1976.  Children: Gary Overpeck, Jim Overpeck and Cinda Overpeck.  Stepchildren: Mike Arnold, Mark Miller and Bryan Miller.  Brother: Bob Overpeck.  Grandchildren: Sean, Brandan and Caitlin Miller and several more.
