Douglas W. Kaufman, age 53, of Amo, passed away on November 2, 2021. He was born on April 24, 1968 in Indianapolis to Tom Kaufman and Linda Withrow. He was a graduate of Cascade H.S. and attended trade school to be an electrician for Enterprise Electric Company in Fishers, Indiana. Doug was a true outdoorsman. He loved to deer hunt, fish, and spend time with friends and family, especially his grandkids. Survivors include his parents, Linda and William Withrow and Tom and Pam Kaufman; children, Brady (Amber), Chris (Savannah), Kierstan, and Nicholas; grandchildren, Sabena, Ronan, Laurelai, and Tobias; siblings, Tom (Janet) Kaufman II, Valarie (Ron) Human, Billy Withrow, Celia (Donnie) White, and Anita (Jason) Jones; and many more beloved family members. Visitation for Doug will be held on Tuesday November 9, 2021 from 3-7 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with services immediately following. Burial will take place in Maple Hill Cemetery; Plainfield with a small graveside service for family on Wednesday at 12 pm.
