(Williams) Wright
November 2, 1943 – June 8, 2023
Donna Jean (Williams) Wright was born 11/2/1943 to the late Johnny and Mildred Williams. She was a 1961 graduate of Whiteland High School.
Donna married her true soul mate, best friend and love of her life, G. Thomas (Tom) Wright 10/24/1969. He preceded her in death in 2007. Together they raised their 4 children who survive them: Robert Lee (Kim) Hudson, Rebecca Lynn (Robert) Allen, William Dean (Carole) Wright, Lisa LeAnn (Scott) Evans. Together they shared 10 grandchildren Keith Rinehart, Kim (Brent) Anderson, Kevin Rinehart, Korey Rinehart, Courtney (John) King, Chad Wright, Carie Wright, Veronica Hudson, Faith Evans, and Alexander Evans. Additionally they shared 10 great grandchildren. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, along with brother in law Carl Wright, sisters in law Karen Wright (late Don Wright), Ellen (Wright) Neal. Donna also leaves behind her "fearsome foursome" group of best friends, numerous colleagues and customers and many cherished friends. Along with her husband and parents, Donna was preceded in death by her only sibling, brother James Williams.
Donna was initially a homemaker, then a hairdresser with Danville Design Group, retiring approximately 2002 after 25 years. She worked for ATA Airlines, and then many years as a realtor/office manager for Wright Realtors before her final retirement in 2013. Donna was a member of Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church. She enjoyed reading, sewing, working with flowers, cooking new exciting deserts, holidays, she loved animals and spending any time available with her family.
She will be missed by so many. The family would like to thank Dr. Michael Wilson for his excellent care and genuine concern throughout her last years. IU West Hospital for their care and genuine hearts, and the IU hospice team for their care and comfort during her final journey.
A funeral mass will be held at 12:00 noon on Tuesday, June 13, 2023 in Mary Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Danville, with burial to follow in the Clayton Cemetery. Visitation will be one hour prior to the funeral mass in the church. Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is handling the arrangements.
