Donita J. Edwards, 69 of Coatesville, passed away November 6, 2016.  Born October 15, 1947 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of Donald L. and Juanita Gibbons Honey.  She married John W. Edwards on July 10, 1976 in Danville.  Donita taught first grade for Wayne Township School Corporation for 33 years before retiring.  She was a member of New Winchester Christian Church.  Donita loved to cross-stitch and attend her Bible Study group.  Survivors include her husband, John W. Edwards of Coatesville; son, John David (Mary) Edwards of New Mexico; daughter, Susan R. (Drew) Lovgren of Hawaii; sister, Freda (Michael) Strehle of Plainfield and 3 granddaughters, Elizabeth, Abigail and Amelia.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, November 12, 2016 in New Winchester Christian Church with calling for 2 hours prior to the service.  Contributions may be made to the church at 53 S SR 75 Danville, IN 46122.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of the arrangements.  Online condolences may be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com
