Dolores J. Alexander, 90, of Danville, passed away recently in her home. She was born October 28, 1933 in Parke County, Indiana, to the late Helen (Crowder) and Gilbert Delp. Dolores married Keith M. Alexander on Christmas Day, December 25, 1954, in Mansfield, Indiana. He preceded her in death November 2018. Dolores co-owned Kadel Engineering Corporation in Danville. She enjoyed interior design, fashion and flower gardening.

It is not possible to remember Dolores without considering the love story with her beloved husband.  Married for sixty-four years, they were rarely separated and mutually cherished.  Above all, family and friends will remember Dolores and Keith as a radiant example of how to love and be loved.

Survivors include her daughter, Sheri (Jeff) Trover of Indianapolis; son, David (Lisa) Alexander of Danville; sister, Janice (Dale) Ball; grandchildren, Felicia Mattingly, Brittany (Matt) Schmitt, Brooke Alexander, Nathan Alexander, Alyssa Trover, Ashlie Trover; and 4 great grandchildren.  Her parents; husband; and brother, Carl Delp, preceded her in death.

An open house Celebration of Life will be held from 2:00-5:00 pm on Sunday, October 13, 2024, in the Alexander Home at 1625 E Main St Danville, IN 46122. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to The Gathering Together at www.thegatheringtogether.org
