Dolores A. Prevete, 88 of Avon, passed away on April 14, 2024 at Sugar

Grove senior living. She was born on October 29, 1935 in Brooklyn,

New York to the late Harold and Olga Hurbanek Cousins. She married

Salvatore Ricardo Prevete on April 15, 1961 in Brooklyn, New York; he

preceded her in death on February 9, 2024. Dolores was a full charge

bookkeeper for several years. She attended St. Susanna Catholic

Church in Plainfield. Her greatest joys in life were spending time with

her 3 children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and taking care of

her beloved Sal. Visitation will be held on Tuesday April 16, 2024 from

5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield. Funeral mass

will be held on Wednesday April 17, 2024 at 1 p.m. in St. Susanna

Catholic Church with Father Rob Hausladen officiating. Survivors

include her daughters: Nancy McGarry (Daniel) and Karen Copeland

(David). Son: Richard Prevete (Rosemarie Lieberum). Sisters: Susan

Tommaso and Donna Nicora. 3 Grandchildren: Sarah Grant (Timothy),

Adam McGarry and Tyler Vogel. 2 Greatgrandchildren: Ethan and Dean Grant
