Dixie Lee Page, 83 of Danville, passed away on October 20, 2024. She was born on June 14, 1941 in Terre Haute, to the late Creola M. (Russell) and Floyd Charles Morris. She graduated from Danville High School in 1960. Dixie married Evan C. Page on December 08, 1962 in Danville. She was the secretary at Farm Bureau Insurance retiring in 1993 after 25 plus years. She was a member of the Danville American Legion Post #118 Ladies Auxiliary. Dixie loved her grandchildren, entertaining her family and friends, and was an amazing cook. Many have tried to duplicate her macaroni and cheese but have yet to succeed. She was a huge Elvis fan and enjoyed collecting things. She also loved going to the Covered Bridge Festival and spent many family weekends at Raccoon Lake. Survivors include her husband of 62 years, Evan C. Page of Danville; son, Steven Page of Carmel; daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Jones of New Palestine, Yvonne (Shea) Farnsley, and Lisa (Charles) Prather, both of Danville; 9 grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren. Her parents; brother, Larry Morris; and sister, Diane Budd, preceded her in death. Services will be at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, October 25, 2024 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Danville South Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.
