Debra Jean Himsel, 61 of Pittsboro, IN passed away January 27, 2018. Debra was born in Crawfordsville, IN on March 23, 1956. Debra married Stephen J. Himsel on August 31, 1985 in Danville, IN.  Debra served on the Board of Directors with Danville Multi-School Building Corp.; was a former member of the Order of Eastern Star Groveland Chapter No. 330; a former charter member of Phi Beta Kappa Sorority; and a charter member of the Young Agents Committee of the Independent Agents of Indiana, Inc. She was an insurance agent for 40 plus years and for the past 19 years, CIC designated agent; currently with Johnson and Williamson Insurance.

Survivors include her husband, Stephen J. Himsel of Pittsboro, IN; daughter, April H. (Jason) Daubenspeck; son, Adam J. Himsel; grandchildren, Ayla and Colton Daubenspeck, all of Danville.  Her parents Lloyd Wm. Russell and Norma Jean (Keyt) Russell, and sister, Patty Clampitt, preceded her in death.

Services will be at 10:00 am on Thursday, February 1, 2018 in the Danville Christian Church with burial to follow in K of P Cemetery, Lizton, IN.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the church.  Contributions may be made to the Danville Chapter of FFA c/o Danville Community High School 100 Warrior Way Danville, IN  46122.  Baker Funeral Home, Danville, is in charge of the arrangements.
