David Paul Roney, age 80, of Indianapolis, passed away on July 12, 2022 in Life's Journey Hospice in Avon.  He was born on February 21, 1942 in Chicago, Illinois to the late Paul and Monica Lucas Roney.  He worked at Fastenal and Oliver Trucking in Indianapolis for several years before his retirement.  He was a member of Kingsway Christian Church in Avon.  Survivors include his sisters: Judith Hamby of Avon and Georgia Ruble of Arizona. Nephew: Joey E. Hamby (Kara) of Avon and Niece: Patty Hamby of Indianapolis.  Graveside services will be held on Thursday July 14, 2022 at 12 noon in Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield is handling arrangements.
