David Michael Lee, age 60, of Danville, Indiana passed away on January 21, 2024 in Hendricks Regional Health.  He was born on August 27, 1963 in Danville, Indiana to the late Max Lee and Mabel Louise Griggs Lee Merritt.  He married Marilyn Louise Newman Rozzel Lee on August 30, 1993; she survives.  David was a machinist at Caterpillar before his retirement.  He enjoyed woodworking, archery, go karts, shooting, an avid racing fan and Indianapolis Colts fan.  Visitation will be Friday January 26, 2024 from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Funeral services will start at 1 p.m. with Rev. Josh Little officiating.  Burial will follow in Clayton Cemetery.

Survivors include his wife of 30 years Marilyn Lee.  Daughters: Cindy (Bruce) Wiltermood and Dawn and John Atto.  Sons: Adam Simmons and Aaron and Stephanie Lee.  Sisters: Priscilla Lehman, Debby Templin and Peggy "Maggie" Lee.  Brother: Matt Lee.  9 Grandchildren and 2 Greatgrandchildren.
