David L. Asher, 77 of Danville, passed away June 5, 2016.  Born November 12, 1938 in Martinsville, he was the son of Clarence and Julia Northern Asher.  He worked for Hendricks Regional Health for more than 47 years in the Engineering Department. At the time of his retirement in 2008, he held the record for longest time employed by the hospital.   David was a member of the Hendricks County Amateur Radio Emergency Services as an Extra Class operator. Survivors include his children, Stanley Asher (Rhonda) of Arizona, Debra Asher (Kelly) of Indianapolis, Sandra Asher-Camden (Ed) of New Mexico; stepchildren, Devon D. Pulliam (Julia), Melanie Pulliam; 4 brothers, 6 grandchildren and his first wife and mother of their children, Betty J. Asher.  His parents, 2nd wife, Terri L. (White) Asher and a sister, preceded him in death.  Calling will be from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 11, 2016 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville.  Services will begin at 1:00 pm with Pastor Don Endsley officiating.  Burial will be in the New Winchester Cemetery.  Contributions may be made to Hospice of the Valley 1982 E Woodside Ct Gilbert, AZ 85297.
