Daniel Wheeler Boles, 76 of Clayton, passed away on May 12, 2024.  He was born on July 21, 1947 in Algood, Tennessee, to the late Lela May (Burchett) and Arlee Boles.  Daniel married Brenda Kay Garrett on September 28, 1991 and she preceded him in death on May 29, 2023.  He owned and operated Danny's Locker and Cabinet Repair for 40 plus years retiring in 2008.  Daniel enjoyed working outdoors in his yard and loved his animals.  Survivors include his daughter, Tameka Swafford of Clayton; brother, Lawton Boles; sister, Marty Cupp (Randy); 3 grandchildren, Blake, Isabella, D. J.; 2 great grandchildren, Liam and Hadleigh; and a special niece, Robin Broyles.  His parents; wife; and siblings, Zella Gray, James D. Boles, Joe Lee Boles and Gene Boles, preceded him in death.  Funeral services will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, May 17, 2024 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with visitation one hour prior to the service in the funeral home.
