Christopher Scott Wood, 45 of Plainfield, passed away on July 26, 2016.  Though his death was sudden and unexpected, Chris will continue helping people by being an organ and tissue donor.  Born July 25, 1971 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Stephen Wood and Kathy Stern Humphrey.  He married Brandy Watson on October 24, 1998.  Chris worked as a liquid compounder for Sensient Flavors LLC in Indianapolis, for the past five years.  Survivors include his wife, Brandy Wood; daughter, Peyton Wood; son, Marshal Wood, all of Plainfield; mother and stepfather, Kathy (Tom) Humphrey; father, Stephen Wood and sister, Andi Thompson.  Services will be at 2:00 pm on Monday, August 1, 2016 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Family and friends may call from 10:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to the Peyton and Marshal Wood fund c/o Hall-Baker Funeral Home 339 E Main St Plainfield, IN  46168.
