"Charlie" Ribble

Charles G. "Charlie" Ribble, Sr., 79 of Danville, passed away December 19, 2016 in his residence. Born May 11, 1937 in Seagraves, Texas, he was the son of Cecil and Hazel Quillen Ribble. He married Matchie Morgan on June 17, 1968 in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Charlie owned Ribble Maytag Home Appliance Center from 1991-2006. He was a truck driver for Transcon for 20 years and also was the president and owner of T & I Petroleum Company from 1984 until 2015. Mr. Ribble was a member of the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653 and the Murat Shriners Club. Survivors include his wife, Matchie Ribble; sons, Charles G. Ribble, Jr. (Kathy), Ray Morgan (Shirley); daughters, Kim Kile (Tracy Wages), Luan Denney (Samuel); siblings, Twana Vandever, Harold Ribble, Larry Ribble (Kathy); 12 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. His parents; daughters, Tina Smith, Betty Furman; brothers, Lynn and Doug Ribble, preceded him in death. Services will be at 1:30 pm on Friday, December 23, 2016 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in New Winchester Cemetery. Calling will be from 4:30-8:00 pm on Thursday, December 22, 2016 in the funeral home.
