Charles "Chuck" Carvey, 55 of Plainfield, passed away December 21, 2016.  Born July 28, 1961 in Indianapolis, he was the son of James Robert and Mazie Burchett Carvey.  He married Bonita Joyce McClane on March 12, 1983.  Chuck has been a correction officer since 1983 and was currently employed at Putnamville Correctional Facility.  He served with the Honor Guard for the Indiana Department of Corrections and was a member of the Plainfield Masonic Lodge #653.  Survivors include his wife, Bonita Carvey; son, Cody Carvey; brothers, Harold and Larry Carvey; sisters, Debra Wentworth, Donna Jo McIntyre and Patricia Jean Street.  Services will be at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Monday, December 26, 2016 in the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children 2900 Rocky Point Dr Tampa, FL 33607.
