Carolyn Sue Freeland, age 85, of Plainfield passed away on May 3, 2024 in Hendricks Regional Health.  She was born on February 25, 1939 to the late Raymond Arthur and Geneva Irene Hilton Jennings. She was the widow of Chester Freeland.  Before her retirement, Carol worked as a hairdresser, a server at the Waffle House in Plainfield, and a factory worker for Aircraft Electronics. She was a member of the Gasburg Baptist Church, Moose Lodge, enjoyed quilting, was an avid card player and loved spending time with friends and family. Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 9, 2024 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.  Funeral services will be held on Friday May 10, 2024 at 1 p.m. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield.  Burial will follow in Maple Hill Cemetery in Plainfield.  Survivors include her children: Julie Sprinkle and Dale (Melissa) Rivers.  Brother: Jim (Cheri) Jennings. Daughter in law- Linda Rivers. 14 Grandchildren and 13 Great Grandchildren
