Carolyn Jeanice Burrows (known as Katy), 82 of Danville, passed away on March 24, 2018 in Plainfield.  Katy was born on August 1, 1935 in Monrovia to the late Vivian Geneva (Spoon) McCammack and Russell Turley.  She graduated from Danville High School in 1954 and married her high school sweetheart, Dick Burrows on July 19, 1957.  Katy was the Danville High School secretary and treasurer for 43 years.  She was a member of Tri Kappa Sorority and St. Augustine Episcopal Church.

Survivors include her daughter, Teresa (Kevin) Bruce of Clayton; son, Steve Burrows of Danville; sisters, Jane (Gary) Charles of Danville, Jody Cline of Avon; grandchildren, Tiffany (Jason) Thompson, Katy (Josh) McElhany, Bridget Smith, Brenda McNulty, Stevie Burrows, Madison Burrows; great-grandchildren, Trey, Cassie, Bella, Keegan, Callie, Jayce, Molly, and Gwen.  Katy was preceded in death by her husband and parents.

Services will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Danville South Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 pm on Monday, April 2, 2018 in the funeral home.
