Carol "Dianne" Whitlock Jones, age 77, of Plainfield passed away on May 26, 2025.  Born in Franklin, Indiana on December 22, 1947, to the late Robert L. and Irene I. (Knight) Whitlock of Indianapolis, Indiana.  She is also preceded in death by her husband Stephen E. Jones of Plainfield, Indiana and her son Bret A. Cruikshank of Dublin, Ohio.  She graduated from Franklin Central High School in 1966, retired from the Indiana Department of Corrections, Reception Diagnostic Center in Plainfield, Indiana in 2007.  She enjoyed spending time with family and friends, she loved reading the Bible, listening to southern gospel music and very much enjoyed her Woman's Room where she had more fabric than a fabric store.  She is survived by her daughter Michelle D. Cruikshank Carter (Joseph) of Poland, Indiana, two granddaughter's Brittany R. Carter Perez of Glendale, AZ and Ashley Carter from Poland, Indiana.  3 Great-grandsons, Aaron, Carter and James of Glendale, AZ. Brother: Reverend Ronald L. Whitlock (Eunice) of Marshall, TX. Sister: Barbara L. Whitlock Anderson (Darrel) of Olathe, KS. 4 nieces, 4 nephews, 10 great-nieces and 6 great-nephews.  Her service will be officiated by her brother Pastor Ron at Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield at 12 noon on June 6, 2025, with visitation from 11 a.m. until services.  She will be laid to rest with her husband at the Marion National Cemetery in Marion, Indiana.  Donations can be made to your church or favorite charity.
