Carol Ann Lindsay, 82 of Lizton, passed away on April 27, 2025.  She was born on October 10, 1942 in Pennsylvania to the late Elizabeth (Norris) and Guy Shaffer.  Carol married Charles W. Lindsay on June 30, 1973 in Milledgeville, Indiana, and she was a homemaker.  Carol enjoyed cooking and she and her husband loved sight-seeing and were both members of the Lizton United Methodist Church.  Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Charlie Lindsay of Lizton; sons, Michael Lindsay (Barb) of Rockville, Richard Lindsay (Trina) of Brownsburg, Paul Lindsay (Laura) of Ball Ground, Georgia; brothers, Rodney Shaffer (Barbara), David Shaffer (Marie); sisters, Bonnie Broden, Patricia Moran; 5 grandchildren, Matt (Nikki), Rebekah, Tate (Megan), Nicholas, Clara; and 3 great grandchildren, Grace Ann, Adalynn, and Braelynn.  Her parents; brothers, Gary and Terry Shaffer; and sister, Mary Jane Colbert, preceded her in death.  Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, April 30, 2025 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow at the K of P Cemetery, Lizton.  Calling will be from 11:00 am until the service time in the funeral home.
