Bryan C. Smith, 66 of Jamestown, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2024 in his home. He was born on August 11, 1957 in Indianapolis to the late Marylyn (Littleton) and Richard Smith. Bryan was a loving husband, father, Peepaw and friend. He married Carole E. Bright on July 04, 2002 in Bryant, Indiana. He worked as a mechanic and dispatcher for A & C Trucking in Indianapolis for over 20 years. Bryan was a standout athlete at Cascade High School, graduating in 1976. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family and friends. He also loved all types of racing and for a few years raced modified midget race cars. Survivors include his wife, Carole Smith of Jamestown; children, B. J. Smith (Tara) of Plainfield, Crystin Peterman (Marion) of Kentucky, Dylan Shannon (Heather) of Jamestown; grandchildren, Cheyenne, Alexis, Johnathan, Matthew, Logan, Reagan, Jared; siblings, Paula Crickmore (Mitchell), Gary Smith, and Chris Smith (Diane). His parents and brother, Jeff Smith, preceded him in death.

A funeral service will be held at 4:00 pm on Friday, June 28, 2024 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, IN. Visitation will be from 2:00 pm until the service time in the funeral home.
