Bobbie Jean Travelsted, age 71, of Plainfield, passed away on October 25, 2022 at St. Francis Hospital, Indianapolis.  She was born on February 23, 1951 at home in Hazelwood, Indiana to the late Charles and Leona Sparks Thompson. She married Donnie Travelsted on May 31, 1986; he survives.   She was a data analyst for Duke Energy for 30+ years before her retirement.  Bobbie enjoyed knitting, crocheting and working puzzles.  She was a 40+ year member of the Plainfield Eagles Lodge #3207.  Survivors include her husband of 35 years, Donnie; children, Kent Adams (Shellie), Kevin Adams (Kristy), Kelli Adams (Aimee), Brian Travelsted (Melissa), Stacey Harris (Dave), Lisa Theissen (Eric); sisters, Patricia Bennett (Jerry), Martha Ridel, Margaret Buck, Rachel Juhlin, Ramona Adams (Jan); brothers, Melvin Thompson (Pam), Jimmy Thompson (Marcia); 17 grandchildren; and 2 great grandchildren.  Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 pm on Saturday, October 29, 2022 in the Avon Parkside Church of the Nazarene.  Funeral services will begin at 4:00 pm in the church.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling the arrangements.  In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Autism Fund in care of Plainfield Eagles Lodge #3207 5556 E U S 40 Plainfield, IN 46168.
