Beverly Diane Porter, 71 of Plainfield, passed away November 18, 2019.  She was born on October 02, 1948 in South Bend to Rosezella (Quinn) Dietrich and the late Robert Dietrich.  She married William R. Porter on May 07, 1983 in Indianapolis.  Beverly was a nurse practitioner in the medical field before her retirement.  She was a member of St. Anne's Catholic Church, Tri Kappa Sorority and volunteered many hours for church.  Beverly also was a member of a cooking club through the Plainfield Public Library that met and exchanged recipes and tips.  She enjoyed gardening, flowers, loved the outdoors and traveling on many trips.  Survivors include her husband, William R. Porter of Plainfield; children, Jennifer L. (Chris) O'Neal of Plainfield, Michael R. (Lindsey) Porter of Westfield; mother, Rosezella Dietrich of Greenwood; sisters, Linda (Joe) Ragozzino of Indianapolis, Marilyn Dietrich (Tom White) of Minnesota; her granddaughter, Madalynn O'Neal and a grandson on the way, Arlo Porter, who will arrive in February 2020.  A funeral mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 23, 2019 in St. Susanna Catholic Church, Plainfield, with entombment to follow in Maple Hill Cemetery Mausoleum.  Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m. on Friday, November 22, 2019 in the church.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Catherine Peachey Fund 5309 N Delaware St Indianapolis, IN 46220.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, is handling the arrangements.
