Betty L. Ruddick, age 85, of Plainfield, passed away on March 28, 2025.  She was born in Indianapolis, Indiana on October 16, 1939 to the late James and Betty Townsend Wilson.  She was a 1957 graduate from Plainfield High School, married her high school sweetheart Jim and they were married 65 years before his passing in 2023.   Betty worked at the Plainfield High School Cafeteria for 30 Plus years before her retirement.

Betty was a member of the Plainfield Christian Church where a memorial service will be held at 12 Noon on Wednesday April 9, 2025.  Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until service in the church at noon.

Survivors include her daughters: Linda Tilley (Jeff) and Nancy Ruddick.  Granddaughter: Brooklyn Hudson and Great-granddaughter: Harlem.
