Ben Wyley Howard, 84 of Clayton, passed away January 05, 2020 in Plainfield Healthcare Center.  He was born on March 10, 1935 in Paragould, Arkansas to the late Tom and Una Turpin Howard.  Ben worked in the warehouse for Kroger for many years before retirement.  Survivors include his son, Gary Howard of Plainfield; nieces, Connie Wingler of Plainfield, Carolyn Birge of Clayton; and several great nieces and nephews.  A graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm on Wednesday, January 08, 2020 at Maple Hill Cemetery, Plainfield.  Hall-Baker Funeral Home is handling the arrangements.
