Barbara Jean Gorman, 82 of Danville, passed away on December 23, 2020 at her residence.  She was one of seven children and born on June 26, 1938 in New Castle, Indiana to the late James Gorman and Joanne Jackson Hartl.  Barbara worked at Firestone for over 30 years before her retirement.  She enjoyed her flower garden and was an avid reader.  Survivors include her daughter, Cindy Godby (Leon) of Danville; 4 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandsons.  Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Baker Funeral Home, Danville.  There will be no services at this time.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society 5635 W 96th Street, Suite 100 Indianapolis, IN 46278.  Online condolences may be made at www.bakerfuneralservice.com
