Barbara J. Brown, 85, of Plainfield passed away on March 5, 2016 in her residence.  She was born on September 12, 1930 in Indianapolis to Harry and Flava Botts Eberg. She married Thomas Brown Sr. on September 17, 1954; he survives.  Barbara was a homemaker and a member of the Faith Baptist of Avon Church.  Pastor Marc Monte will officiate a service on Wednesday March 9, 2016 at 10:30 A.M. in Hall-Baker Funeral Home Plainfield. Burial will follow in Oak Lawn Memorial Park in Indianapolis.  Calling hours will be from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday March 8, 2016 in the funeral home.  Survivors include her Husband Thomas Sr., Children: David Brown, Shirley Larkin (Richard), Thomas Brown Jr. (Cindy) and Sandy Jett (Brian).  Sisters:  Betty Hendricks and Debbie Smith (Barry).  11 Grandchildren and 23 Great Grandchildren.
