Audrey A. Nelson, 81 of Bainbridge, passed away June 25, 2017 in Wellbrooke of Avon.  Born January 20, 1936 in McKeen, Illinois, she was the daughter of Logan and Edna Montgomery Griffith.  Audrey married Walter Nelson on June 19, 1954 in Marshall, IL., and he preceded her in death.  She was a homemaker and also worked at Marsh Supermarket for years, both in the deli and as a cashier.  Audrey was a member of the Lens View Camera Club and Whitestone Christian Church.  Survivors include her children, Larry (Marsha) Nelson of Florida, Sheryl (Bruce) Adamson of Danville, Melinda (Jeff) Stokes of Lafayette; grandchildren, Matthew and Sarah Nelson, Sylvia Summers, Neal and Noah Adamson and Chealse Walsh; 10 great grandchildren.  Her parents, husband, 1 brother and 2 sisters, preceded her in death.  Memorial services will be at 12:00 pm on Saturday, July 1, 2017 in Baker Funeral Home, Danville, with burial to follow in Bainbridge Cemetery.  Calling will be from 10:00 am until the service in the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to the Hendricks County Humane Society 3033 E Main Street Danville, IN 46122 or Sheltering Wings, via paypal online.
