Arthur W. Stanley, 75 of Plainfield, passed away May 14, 2019.  He was born on May 17, 1943 in Indianapolis, to the late William and Lenora Bosley Stanley.  Arthur graduated from Olney Friends School in Barnesville, Ohio.  He was a truck driver for Ashland, LLC, for many years before retiring.  Arthur was a lifetime member of the NRA and collected guns and antique cars.  He attended the Southside Reform Presbyterian Church.  Survivors include his sons, William John Stanley, Roger Duane Stanley; daughter, Anita Ruth Brill; sister, Ethel Loretta Jordan; 5 grandchildren; his caregivers and local nephews, Stanley (Tammy) Edrington, Scott (Stephanie) Edrington and Kyle (Stacy) Edrington.  His parents and sister, Margaret Ann O'Kon, preceded him in death.  Services will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, May 20, 2019 in Hall-Baker Funeral Home, Plainfield, with burial to follow in Sugar Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be from 10:00 am until the service in the funeral home.  Contributions may be made to the South Sudan Mission c/o Southside Reform Presbyterian Church 6969 S Meridian St Indianapolis, IN 46217.
